New Military Models Announced
The latest Spartan Games newsletter has gone out, and has details of some new scenery models heading our way soon!
First up is the Military Installations pack, which provides a number of modular pieces for creating either the base shown in the image, or your own bases for use in scenarios, campaigns or just single games.
It looks like a nice way to add scenery and a bit of variety to your games. I have a feeling that this pack might tie in somewhat with the forthcoming Firestorm Invasion game, given the lack of flight stands!
Next is the Weapon Satellites pack. This pack consists of four models: two Gun Turrets and two Torpedo Satellites.
Stats will probably be released for these models given that they feature weapons, and it’ll be interesting to see what kind of effect they have on the game!
Finally, we have the PD and Comm Satellites pack. This pack contains six models: two Comms Satellites and four PD (Point Defence) satellites.
The PD Satellites seem pretty obvious in what they do, but I’m curious to find out what the Comm satellites do and how they affect the game.
None of these models are part of any fleet, but look like a fun way to spice up your FSA gaming table and might give you a few scenario ideas, too. According to the newsletter, they’ll be out on August 25th and should be available for pre-ordering soon.
